Alkira is the ideal place to getaway with friends. Each of the cottages
will accommodate six people comfortably and they ideally located for the Yarra
Valley wineries as well as the many galleries and tea rooms of the Dandenongs.
The little township of Gembrook has several restaurants as well as a great country
hotel which serves excellent meals at weekends. Alternatively the kitchens are
sufficiently well equipped to allow lovely meals to be prepared at home which means
that nobody has to drive. Each cottage also has it’s own, large garden with a bbq
and large picnic table overlooking the view.
The private, six-seater, garden spa is a real winner with our guests, a wonderful,
social way to spend an evening. Located in a gazebo they are designed to be an
all-weather, all-seasons facility and enjoyable even on the coldest winter night. |
